Bloom Bakes is owned and operated by Elysia Yuen, a self-taught home-baker based in London, Wandsworth, SW18.

The first 'proper cake' Elysia baked was a 3 tiered Paw Patrol themed cake for her son in May 2018, she hasn't looked back. The pure joy and awe on Lio's face was priceless.

In January 2019, Elysia created 'Bakes by Elysia' in Newton Abbot, Devon and re-branded as 'Bloom Bakes' in July 2020 after unexpected growth during the global pandemic and her love of fresh blooms, the name just made sense!
Elysia is trained to Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene for Catering, registered with Teignbridge Local Council as well as Merton Council and has been awarded a 5 food and hygiene rating.
